"Lebanon Is Not Sufficient To Burn"
The fury of the Israelis to "Kill" terrorism is best imagined in their current drive to "flush out" Hezbollah and terrorism from Lebanon since July 12th. The verse of scripture from the Bible- the Book of Isaiah, Chapter 40:16 said that "and Lebanon is not sufficient to burn..." That is where we borrowed our title from today.

The casualty statistics (human and infrastructure) are getting scary. Even the President of Lebanon Fouad Sinora, admitted this much when he told Larry King of CNN, that Lebanon has been torn to shreds by Israeli mortar and air strikes.

Two wrongs can never make a right. The gang of hate called Hezbollah, was wrong to have sponsored terrorist attack. Even though it has representations in the Lebanese Parliament, the Hezbollah is a minority in the Lebanese Government. That speaks much for true voice of the Lebanese people, who are now the major victims of the Hezbollah terrorist tactics. In every war, the harmless people, the poor, the women and children are usually the greatest victims, as is the case now in Beirut and other major cities of Lebanon.

Business and industry is now comatose as a result of this "blitzkrieg", electricity and power supply is almost nil. Why must Sinora and his government suffer or be punished for the sins of a minority gang of terrorist group?

The way forward now, is to call a cease-fire and let diplomacy take over to resolve what has not been achieved by violence. This is also a big lesson for societies that tolerate terrorism in their midst by hate groups. The larger society pays an agonising and unfair price for negligence and co-habitation with terror.

Bn-laden tactics has never paid off in the history of modern society. Ask the Taliban!
